“I have some wasps or bees flying around the corner of my house up near the gutters” is the subject of many of our calls at the moment.

At this time of year (June) it is usually bees that are the culprit. Wasps are still in the early stages of building up their nests and most wasp nests will only be the size of an egg or tennis ball.

“What can I do about it”

Firstly don't panic. Although the bees are capable of stinging they will only usually do so if provoked or threatened. They are more interested in their nest than you or your family.
